2017 Scholarships in Australia for International Students

Applications are invited for the 2017 Scholarships in Australia for International Students. These Scholarships are open to Australian and International Students. There are awarded to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes at ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science

DESCRIPTION: ANU is a world-leading university in Australia’s capital. Our focus is on research as an asset and an approach to education. The following scholarships are available for the 2017 academic session;

Ø  Advanced Computing Research and Development Female Excellence Scholarship: $5,000

Ø  Female Excellence Scholarship: $5,000

Ø  International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship – India: 50% of first-year tuition fees

Ø  International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship – South-East Asia: 50% of first-year tuition fees

Ø  International Postgraduate Merit Award- China: $5,000

Ø  International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship – India: 25% of first-year tuition fees

Ø  International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship – South-East Asia;

Ø  International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship – India: 25% of first year tuition fees

Ø  International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship – South-East Asia: 25% of first year tuition fees

Ø  International University Partnership Award: $5,000

Ø  NICTA Research and Development Scholarships: $10,000

Ø  Research and Development Excellence Scholarship – ACT and surrounding region: $5,000

ELIGIBILITY: All applicants, whether domestic or international, must provide evidence that their English language ability meets the minimum requirements for admission. Other eligibility criteria are as follows;

ADVANCED COMPUTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FEMALE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP:

Applicants are expected to have 00+ ATAR. This scholarship is open to female applicants of Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons)

FEMALE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP:

Applicants are expected to have 00+ ATAR. This scholarship is open to female applicants only

INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP – INDIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to students with an Indian citizenship only

INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP – SOUTH-EAST ASIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to citizens of countries in the South-East Asian region only. These countries are eligible: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam

INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE MERIT AWARD- CHINA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to students with Chinese citizenship only

INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP – INDIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to students with an Indian citizenship only

INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP – SOUTH-EAST ASIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to citizens of countries in the South-East Asian region only. These countries are: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP – INDIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to students with an Indian citizenship only

INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP – SOUTH-EAST ASIA:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to citizens of countries in the South-East Asian region only. These countries are: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP AWARD:

This scholarship is awarded base on academic merit and is open to students from the College’s articulation partnership institutions only

NICTA RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS:

Applicants are expected to have 00+ ATAR. This scholarship is available for Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons) with research undertaken with NICTA research groups (For example computer vision, machine learning, networks, optimisation and software systems)

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP – ACT AND SURROUNDING REGION:

Applicants are expected to have 99+ ATAR and must be from the ACT and the surrounding region including Queanbeyan, Karabar, Sutton, Bungendore or Murrumbateman or any of the following postcodes: 0200, 2600-2612, 2614-2620, 2900-2914. This scholarship is available for Bachelor of Engineering (R&D)(Hons) and Bachelor of Advanced Computing (R&D)(Hons).
